Classic Burger Recipe
1 egg
2 c Tbsp water (30 ml)
1/4 cup (60 ml) Plain Prayer
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 c tsp (10 ml)
1/2 c tsp (2 ml ) Dijon mustard ) dried basil
c 1/2 tsp salt (2 ml)
c 1/4 tsp (1 ml) freshly ground black pepper
1 lb (500 g)
lean ground beef 1/2 cup (125 ml) cheddar One grated
4 hamburger buns
Shredded lettuce and tomato slices
Preparation
1. In a large bowl, beat eggs and water. Add breadcrumbs, onion, Dijon mustard, thyme, salt, pepper, and ground beef mixture. The shape is four balls. Use your thumb to indent in the center of each ball. Claim the cheddar in the cavity and press the meat around the cheese trap. Form balls into patties 3/4 inch (2 cm) thick. (You can prepare the pies in advance and put them in an airtight container, separating them with a sheet of wax paper.) They will keep overnight in the refrigerator and freezer for up to 1 month. Thaw in the refrigerator.)
2 adjustable central gas grill Place the patties on the greased grill, cover and cook for 12 to 14 minutes or until they are no longer pink inside and a meat thermometer inserted in the center of the patties indicates 170°F (77°C). (Pati half back)
