2 c Tbsp water (30 ml)

1/4 cup (60 ml) Plain Prayer

1 small onion, finely chopped

lean ground beef 1/2 cup (125 ml) cheddar One grated

4 hamburger buns

1. In a large bowl, beat eggs and water. Add breadcrumbs, onion, Dijon mustard, thyme, salt, pepper, and ground beef mixture. The shape is four balls. Use your thumb to indent in the center of each ball. Claim the cheddar in the cavity and press the meat around the cheese trap. Form balls into patties 3/4 inch (2 cm) thick. (You can prepare the pies in advance and put them in an airtight container, separating them with a sheet of wax paper.) They will keep overnight in the refrigerator and freezer for up to 1 month.
